Until it’s second nature The primary objective of the OnCourse Workshops is to train the student to recognize trading opportunities and to properly take advantage of these opportunities as they arise. From the first class we will begin to apply newly learned concepts and ideas to a variety of markets in a number of time frames, both intraday and daily. It is our job, as an educator, to instill within you the practical knowledge of trading and a thorough understanding of risk, so that you may have the confidence and tools necessary to make independent trading decisions. We are not CTA’s (Certified Trading Advisors) nor are we brokers. OnCourse Trading is not an advisory or trade recommendation service. Part time or Full time The OnCourse trading workshops were designed with both the part-time and full-time trader in mind. These are not quick study courses, nor are they a “get-rich-quick” approach to teaching individuals to become “wealthy without risk”. These are serious training seminars for serious people, interested in acquiring the necessary skills and theory needed to compete in today’s lightning fast financial markets. Time Commitment Each of the two workshops will require approximately 4 months to complete based on full time attendance. You may devote only part time study (couple evenings a week) to the Workshops and still receive all the benefits of full time study, it will just take you longer. During this period, individuals will attend an evening or afternoon class each week, morning or evening question periods, followed by a lab where the “theory” is put to the test by observing the signals in real time during market hours. Once the basic skills have been learned the student can then participate in these labs by trading along side the instructor with a trade simulator. We also know that life happens so our scheduling allows for some flexibility around it. What you will receive Each of the two workshops comes with its own set of class notes, formal classes, labs, and a trading simulator. There will be lots of information and plenty of ideas that will be shared and discussed with the students during the class training seminars. Many of these ideas and concepts, although quite straightforward, are not covered in the class workbooks and it is therefore recommended that notes be taken while in class. The classes are taught in a small on-line classroom where various charts will be presented, analyzed and studied. Each student will need Yahoo Messenger (beta 7 recommended). We will give you lots of personal help and will assess your skill level throughout the trading courses to keep you aware of your progress. After speaking with us for the very first time, you will know this is a hands on course with ample tutoring and mentoring to get you on your way. Which workshop is right for you? You will probably want to complete both courses. Workshop One is complete and can stand alone as a trading system, however, Workshop Two delves deeper into the internal workings of the markets and introduces the student to more advanced concepts and trade methodology. Workshop One is an absolute must for any new trader as it gives, to the student, the basic building blocks needed for successful trading. Workshop Two builds upon the foundations set down in the first workshop, with an ever-increasing emphasis on risk and trade management controls and techniques. The two courses, when combined together form a solid, well-rounded, approach to the world of trading. Like any other business, if there is to be success in the endeavor, it all comes down to knowledge and ones’ own ability to control and manage risk.
