The purpose of this document is to explain our Terms of use (“Terms”) for website (“the Site”).

Our vision is to “make trading accessible to everyone”. We aim to build the largest online resource for traders of all levels.

The Site connects Students (“Students”) who want to learn how how to trade with experienced trading Instructors (“Instructors”) through remote lessons in ‘real life’ using readily available third party conferencing software, packaged as a course. Instructors may also upload online training resources to support learning objectives. This content may be free or paid.

These Terms are applicable to all your interactions on the Site and any third-party APIs.

Only content relating to trading and associated topics as advertised may be uploaded to the Site.

To publish a course, you must register as an Instructor and abide to these Terms and our Instructor Agreement.

Before reading further we recommend reading our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with any personal data we collect and our use of cookies.

1. Accounts

Users may interact with the Site to connect and view the courses we offer and information about the services we offer.


To purchase and enrol on a course or become an Instructor you must register on the Site. When registering you will be required to enter your email address and create a password. Do not share your login details with anyone. If you have concerns about the security of your account please contact us at

As part of the registration process you will be asked to choose a username and enter your name. Your name will be publicly visible to everyone. You must ensure you provide accurate information when creating your account.

We will also ask you to enter a bio, tell us your areas of expertise in trading. Instructors will be asked to provide additional information such as but not limited to, your PayPal ID, your address and links to social media accounts.

The purpose of the Site is not to organise ‘real life’ meetings and therefore we do not verify the identity of our Instructors or Students.

OnCourseTrading expressly exclude all liability in connection with events of any nature, which could take place between Students and Instructors during online interactions, whether through the Websites or through Third Party Websites, or during ‘real life’, in person meetings between Instructors and Students arising from use of the Site.

Therefore, Instructors and Students are reminded that they are prohibited from disclosing any information to other Students and Instructors, which allows them to be identified or located (surname, postal address, email, telephone number…) with the exception of their display name, through the Site.

We reserve the right to delete any accounts we identity as being malicious or contravening these Terms, Privacy Policy or other legal terms associated with our Site.

We will not delete an account unless it is requested by proven account holder or in the event of us being notified that the user has passed away. All cases will be reviewed on a individual basis.

When registering as an Instructor you automatically become a Student, albeit with extra permissions, such as course creation, editing and access to other associated features not available to Students.

You are responsible for not sharing your login details. In cases where you have shared these willingly, we will not engage in these disputes. Please contact us if you believe someone has gained access to your account without your permission at We may ask you to provide some or all of your credentials in an attempt to resolve your issue. In some cases we may decide the best action is to delete your account, resulting in you losing all your content and associated account data.

Students and Instructors must be 18 years old or older to register for an account and use the Site. There is a very high degree of risk involved in trading. Past results are not indicative of future returns. OnCourseTrading and all individuals affiliated with this site assume no responsibilities for your trading and investment results.

Instructors agree through the Instructor Agreement that the information contained in their course, lessons or conversations are for informaional and educational purposes. They agree that they will not provide trading or financial advice, or offer to take or invest money on behalf of any Student. More information can be found in the Instructor Agreement.

We will delete your account where we have identified the user as being under the age of 18.

Instructors are required to complete our registration and enrollment form before being able to publish a course.

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account will result in you permanently deleting all data from our database. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on personal data. In the case of Instructor we reserve the right to keep the content you have created.

2. Course enrollment guidelines

Students and Instructors can enrol on a course. When you enrol on a course you receive a lifetime access license from OnCourseTrading to view the content contained in the course. In some cases the course may offer ‘real life’ lessons, in which case these will only be available for the period stated in the course details. You must not download, copy or resell acourse. We may have to remove the course temporarily or permanently following a breach of our policy or for any legal reason identified by us or any third-party.

Where an Instructor is offering a remote lesson or lessons, we suggest a course timeframe of 180 days before the lesson(s) must be completed.

Instructors publishing a course on OnCourseTrading grant OnCourseTrading a license to offer a sub-license to the course to Students. When you enroll on a paid or free course you receive a license to view and access the course through our Site. OnCourseTrading is the licensor of record. Courses are licensed are not sold to you. You do not have the right to resell, download or share the course through any third-party websites.

To summarise, when accessing a course through a free or paid course, you, as a Student have access to a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course and associated content, sole for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, resell, share, lend, adapt and modify, reproduce, broadcast, rent or redistribute the course or its content, unless we have given you authority to do so.

The license only relates to the course and its content and NOT lifetime access to the Instructor.

Whilst we provide a lifetime access license, we may remove your access to individual or all courses at any time.  This could be legal reasons such a copyright claim.

Students will only be granted a license from OnCourseTrading. Any Instructor or third-party attempting to provide a license will be null and void. We reserve the right to ban or delete any accounts of Instructors found to be in breach of these Terms.

3. Payments processes

When you access a paid course you will be required to make a payment. Our preferred payment method is PayPal. We may offer other payment providers, and will update these Terms as and when this happens.

Students may request a refund within 30 days of the purchase price.

Where OnCourseTrading cannot resolve the refund request the Student will be asked to raise a request directly through PayPal. In this case the refund policy of PayPal will be applicable.

3.1 Pricing

Our prices are based on the terms of our Instructor Agreement and our Pricing Policy.

Instructors may change the price of their course at any time. The price you pay at checkout will be the price as advertised at that time. Instructors may offer voucher codes to promote a sale. This will be clearly advertised on the course. We may offer courses at reduced prices to non-registered users to encourage them to sign up to OnCourseTrading.

All prices are based on the United Kingdom currency GBP, unless otherwise published.

3.2 Payments

When you purchase a lesson, lessons or content through a course, you agree to pay the course fee. By paying for a course you authorise for OnCourseTrading to charge your associated payment provider. We use third party payment providers and do not store any of your financial information on our systems. You payment is with the third-party. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.

When you make a payment, you agree to use the correct payment method and type. If you gain access to the course but your payment fails, you agree to pay OnCourseTrading within thirty (30) days. We may lock or delete your account if you fail to make payment to us.

3.3 Refunds

You may ask for a refund within 30 days of the course purchase date if the course was not what you expected. We will not refund you if the refund request is after the 30 days.  

Instructors agree, as part of the Instructor Agreement, to allow Students to have a refund.

If your refund request cannot be resolved then we will instruct you to raise your request directly with PayPal or the payment provider. In these cases their refund policy will apply.

We reserve the right to cancel or delete your account if we believe you are mis-using the refund policy to gain access to paid content for free.

4. Content rules and unacceptable behaviour

You are responsible for your account, activity, behaviour and interactions on OnCourseTrading. Anyone found to be using unacceptable behaviour on our Site will be warned or have their account deleted. You must respect the intellectual property rights of others at all times.

You are also responsible for your behaviour during any lessons through third party software. We cannot control ‘real life’ conversations but will consider feedback should any issues arise, which could result in accounts being banned or deleted.

You must be 18 years or older to access the Site.

You must only use the Site for lawful purposes.

Students may post comments, questions to Instructors, public and private groups, forums, messages, reviews and testimonials. In some cases, an Instructor may issue homework, tests or quizzes. You are responsible for posting your own content, and not that of others.

Instructors may create courses using our front end building tool. All courses submitted will be reviewed by OnCourseTrading before being published. It is our sole discretion on course submissions. We reserve the right to give feedback, ask for edits or reject a course submission.

Instructors may communicate with Students through the Site and through the Instructors chosen third party conferencing software.

Instructors must abide to the rules and terms when interacting with Students and the Site.

Instructors are responsible for the content they create and the actions they take on the Site. This includes any interactions with Students. Instructors must not provide their personal email address through the site.

Instructors must not upload any content that does not belong to them, or content that would infringe any copyright law.

Please make sure you read our Instructor Agreement before using the Site.

We may remove your content if we are notified of any infringement or situation where the law has been broken. Please read our Intellectual Property Policy for more information.

Anyone who does not follow our terms and other legal documents may result in being banned from the Site. We may delete your account at any time with a valid reason.

If you fail to pay any fees when due, upon the request of law enforcement or government agencies, for extended periods of inactivity, for unexpected technical issues or problems, or if we suspect that you engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. Upon any such termination we may delete your account and content, and we may prevent you from further access to the platforms and use of the Site.

We reserve the right to keep using your content on the Site in the event that your account is suspended or deleted. You agree that we will have no liability to you or any third party for termination of your account, removal of your content, or blocking of your access to our platforms and services.

If we identify an Instructor has published a course that infringes copyright or trademark law, then we will remove this. You can report any such cases to

5. What happens to your uploaded content

When you upload content to the Site you retain ownership of this. By registering to the Site, you give us permission to share your content through the Site, our social media channels or on third-party websites.

The content you post as a Student or Instructor (including courses) remains yours. By posting courses and other content, you allow OnCourseTrading to reuse and share it but you do not lose any ownership rights you may have over your content.

We recommend Instructors read our Instructor Agreement.

By accessing the Site, you give us permission to re-use and share any of your content, courses, media content, including but not limited to your comments, reviews, messages, questions and testimonials. In summary you give OnCourseTrading non-exclusive world-wide rights, royalty free license (with the right to sublicence), to use, process, adapt, modify, publish, copy, reproduce, transmit, display and distribute your content in any and all media or distribution. This includes sharing your content with other platform, organisations and third-parties for any use we choose. You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power, and authority necessary to authorize us to use any content that you submit. You also agree to all such uses of your content with no compensation paid to you.

6. Risks

Please read our disclaimer at the top of this document. Trading is a high risk business. Thinks can go wrong. You accept this risk and are responsible for taking the right advice before making any type of investment.

We aim to review all Instructor courses before being published. We aim to ensure that only quality training material is shared on the Site. However, we are human, and there may be occasions where we make mistakes. In these cases please point them out to us at and we will review any issues.

We are not peronsally responsible for editorial control over the courses on the Site. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy or truthfulness of the courses. If you choose to enroll on a course, you rely on any information provided by an Instructor at your own risk.

By using the Site, and being over 18 you may witness, read, see, or hear offensive language or content. We do our upmost to review content published by Instructors and to moderate the site for comments but cannot guarantee the Site will be clean of all such material.

OnCourseTrading has no responsibility to keep such content from you and no liability for your access or enrollment in any course, to the extent permissible under applicable law.

You accept that taking advice on trading from other people could result in you losing your investment. OnCourseTrading is not responsible for any financial loss, impact on health or well-being as a result of taking advice from other Students and Instructors. The information on our Site and given during any lessons is purely for educational purposes and is not considered as Financial advice.

You are responsible for the information you share on the Site or with other Students or Instructors. Remember not to share your registration details or personal information with anyone on the site. If you chose to make contact with someone outside of the site then you do so at your own risk.

We do not hire or employ Instructors nor are we responsible or liable for any interactions involved between instructors and students. We are not liable for disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damage of any kind that might arise out of or relate to the conduct of instructors or students.

Never disclose personal, financial or sensitive information during ‘real life’ conversations on lessons.

We use third party links on the Site. We do not control the content you may be exposed to from these sites. We are not responsible for any personal data a third party link may collect on you. You should refer to their Privacy Policy.

7. Our rights

OnCourseTrading manages and owns the Site.

You may not do any of the following while accessing the Site:

Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the platform, OnCourseTrading’s computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of OnCourseTrading’s service providers. Disable, interfere with, or try to circumvent any of the features of the platforms related to security or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any of our systems. Copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, or otherwise attempt to discover any source code of or content on our platform or Services. Access or search or attempt to access or search our platform by any means (automated or otherwise) other than through our currently available search functionalities that are provided via the Site. You may not scrape, spider, use a robot, or use other automated means of any kind to access the Site. in any way use the Site to send altered, deceptive, or false source-identifying information (such as sending email communications falsely appearing as OnCourseTrading); or interfere with, or disrupt, (or attempt to do so), the access of any user, host, or network, including, without limitation, sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing the platforms or services, or in any other manner interfering with or creating an undue burden on the Site.

8. Miscellaneous legal terms

8.1 Agreement

You agree that by registering, accessing or using our Site, you are agreeing to enter into a legally binding contract with OnCourseTrading. If you do not agree to these Terms, we recommend you do not use or register for our Site.

These terms are based on the English language and you may obtain a copy using a free translation tool of your choice. We are not responsible for any mis-interpretation of these Terms.

These Terms (including any agreements and policies linked from these Terms) constitute the entire agreement between you and us (which include, if you are an instructor, the Instructor Agreement and the Pricing and Promotions Policy).

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by applicable law, then that provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of these Terms will continue in effect.

Even if we are delayed in exercising our rights or fail to exercise a right in one case, it doesn’t mean we waive our rights under these Terms, and we may decide to enforce them in the future. If we decide to waive any of our rights in a particular instance, it doesn’t mean we waive our rights generally or in the future.

The following sections shall survive the expiration or termination of these Terms: Sections 2 (Course enrollment guidelines), 5 (What happens to your uploaded content), 6 (Risks), 7 (Our Rights), 8 (Miscellaneous Legal Terms), and 9 (Resolution).

8.2 Disclaimers

The Site and features are provided on a ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. It is possible that the Site may crash, or be put into maintenance mode to fix any issues. We may face being hacked or issues with our theme. These are just examples. In all cases we give no assurances that the Site will be available at all times. You use out site at your own risk.

We may choose to close the site or remove certain features at any time. We will not be held liable for any damages due to the Site being down, close or a lack of features.
